Homeschool Thursdays Season’s Pass / Chi & Ski Program 2016

Word had been received from Mt. Van Hoevenberg that ski season 2016 is on!

Those interested in getting their homeschool season’s pass and rentals are encouraged to do so if they have not already.  If you have little ones that will be renting MVH equipment, they run out fairly soon due to all the lesson programs.  I have heard from several families that there may be equipment to lend out/sell within the homeschooling community, so be sure to inquire if interested.

Joe Kahn will be available starting this Thursday (Jan. 6) for anyone that can make the short notification.  Unfortunately, our family schedule is not flexible enough to make it this week.  Because of the time needed to get fitted and season’s passes purchased, I would encourage you to go anytime between now and next Thursday’s class (Jan.14) to get set up.  I am not sure where Joe will be holding the Chi portion of the class.  The staff in the lodge should be able to tell us.  We had talked about using the press building across the stadium from the lodge, we’ll see.

For those unfamiliar with the grounds at VanHo, season’s passes and equipment rentals are handled at the main lodge.  This is NOT the building you see when you first pull in by the flags and shooting range.  Keep going up to the large main parking lot driving further along the road then sharp left up the hill then left to the parking lot.  Park and walk up the footpath to the lodge / snack area.

Look forward to seeing you there!
