For the past 15 years, Magician Cris Johnson has presented fun and entertaining educational school assembly programs on character development to schools all across North America. Cris uses his unique magic and humor to lay an excellent foundation for this fun-filled program to help explain to students why it's who we are on the INSIDE that matters, not the outside.

Lake Placid Center for the Arts Open Art Show

ATTENTION: Professionals, amateurs, students and children!
Held from March 18 - April 16Celebrate Spring: An Open Community Art Show is designed to highlight all of our area's talented visual artists. This show will foster an appreciation of the visual arts, provide an inclusive venue to showcase the creative talents of the Adirondacks, and to enrich the Lake Placid community through artistic expression.
This is a non-juried art show that supports regional artists by providing an opportunity to display work in a professional gallery setting, regardless of skill, experience or age. The exhibition features artists of all abilities in a variety of media. All work that meets the applicable criteria will be exhibited.
