Book and Lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II
Original dances by Agnes de Mille
Stage Director: Kim Hartshorn Music Director: Timothy Morningstar
Wednesday, 9:30 am, November 4, 2015

Set in a Western Indian Territory just after the turn of the century, the high-spirited rivalry between the local farmers and cowboys provides the colorful background against which Curly, a handsome cowboy, and Laurey, a winsome farm girl, play out their love story. Although the road to true love never runs smooth, with these two headstrong romantics holding the reins, love's journey is as bumpy as a surrey ride down a country road.

This is also our opening performance. This special show is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. in Hartman Theatre, located in the Myers Fine Arts building on campus. Please allow 2 1/2 hours. Tickets are discounted to $3 each for both students and chaperones. We expect a large turnout, so do not hesitate in making your reservations.

If you wish to extend your visit on the day of the performance, we can arrange for any of the following opportunities for your group: a "talk-back" with the cast and directors after the show, a backstage tour, and/or a tour of the college with a staff member from the Admissions Department. Please let us know as soon as possible as we will need advance notice to facilitate this for you.

If you are planning to attend the matinee, we encourage you to reserve your tickets as early as possible due to high demand. Please call our office at (518) 564-2243 to make a group reservation and take advantage of discount pricing.

Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you.
