NORTH COUNTRY HOMESCHOOLING

The North Country Homeschooling group seeks to provide homeschooling support and activities to those living in the Northern NY counties of Clinton, Essex, and Franklin. Activity information is available via email, blog, and Facebook. Homeschooling support is provided though Facebook and a variety of monthly support groups. The North Country Homeschooling Group is open to anyone who homeschools or who is thinking of homeschooling. There are no membership fees.

Art and Gym Time in Saranac Lake

Art classes taught by certified art teacher and art therapist and homeschool mom, Joy Cranker, are starting up in Saranac Lake, Tuesdays from 10-11am at the Saranac Lake Baptist Church. Following art class, we will have gym time from 11-12pm in the church's new gym!!!

Joy notes that the forecast for Tues, Jan 23rd doesn't look good at the moment. If it is bad weather, then we will start on Tues, Jan 30. Stay tuned to your email and FB for updates.

Joy offers these classes free of charge, though she does buy all the materials herself every year (and they are nice materials). I think it is nice if we each offer her a few bucks for the semester if we are able.
