is hosting an Empty Bowl making workshop !!!

We are holding 2 free workshops at the Jackie Sabourin Clay Studio for the community to make earthenware soup bowls for the SUNY Ceramic Studio’s Empty Bowl Project. The proceeds for this will benefit Plattsburgh’s Local Food Shelf dinner to be held on November 14th from5 – 7 pm (place to be posted soon).
There is no experience needed to make your bowl. There will be instructions and demos at the workshops; a bowl generally takes one hour to complete. All ages from 5 – adult are welcomed. Parents must accompany their children. The completed bowl will be donated to the dinner.
The workshops will be held: Wednesday, October 28, from 10 am – 12 noon and Monday, November 2 from 4:00 – 6 pm, in the clay studio.
The clay and glazes have donated.
Please join us at the clay studio at 23 Brinkerhoff Street for either workshop. Enter in the stairs between the Center and Strand. We hope to see many of you there!
