Home School Celebration Night!

You’re Invited to a Home School Celebration Night!

As we wrap up the year, I thought it would be fun to celebrate what we have accomplished, share ideas, and let the kids enjoy the spotlight.  Hope your family can join in the fun!

When:  April 30th, 2016 at 6:30pm
Where:  Cadyville Wesleyan Church (2083 NY State Route 3, Cadyville, NY 12918)
Who’s Invited:  Parents, Grandparent and Friends
RSVP: Please email (tamneureuther@yahoo.com)the approximate number of people coming by April 20th

What is this event:   The night will comprise of three events.

1.      Talent / Presentation / Show – here I ask you toemail me your child’s name, age and what they would like to do (brief description) by May 20th to give our family time to create a program.  Kids are more than welcome to do more than one “act”.   My family will make a fun program for the night!  Ideas would be instruments, sing a song, recite a poem, do a skits, show a science experiment, poster presentation, a talk on any subject, or anything else your child decides he wants to do.

2.     Show and tell time!  Kids can display what they have done this year.  Here, I ask you to label the project with the student’s name and tell a little about it. The student can stay with his projects and talk about them if he wishes, or he can just look around at other projects.  Ideas would include lapbooks, posters, art work, papers, science experiments, book reports, poems, building projects, or whatever else they’d like.

3.     A reception - Everyone can bring a snack/treat to share (we’ll supply plates, cups, napkins and drinks). Please NO Peanut products so all can come and enjoy!

For planning purposes, could you email me approximately how many people will be attending and if your child is going to be exhibiting something (with your child’s first name).  Along with the information (name, age and brief description) if they are going to do an “act” in the talent / presentation show.  My email istamneureuther@yahoo.com.  If you have any questions, feel free to call me at 518-563-7036 or 518-569-3327.

Finally, I will be looking for a couple of families who would be able to come early and help set-up and a few families who would be willing to stay and help clean up after this event.  Thanks in advance.
